Howard Fensterman is a well-known philanthropist and humanitarian who contributes to a variety of charitable sources.  He provides support to organizations that focus on improving the lives of individuals and has contributed extensively to charities that are focused on medical research and treatment, as well as finding cures for debilitating diseases.

Howard was co-honoree at the 25th Annual We Care Fund Golf & Tennis Classic hosted by the Nassau County Bar Association. Additionally, his firm sponsors numerous community events. The latest one was a walk for the Alzheimer’s Association on October 1st and 22nd, 2023 in Long Island, New York.

In November of 2022, Mr. Fensterman has been named one of the 100 authoritative business people in Long Island. Also in November, Long Island, Newsday published an article by Mr. Fensterman on the subject of New York progressive narratives and the need to focus on more traditional values.

Charitable Contributions

Mr. Fensterman strongly believes in the concept of ‘tzedakah’, which means justice or righteousness. Although this word traditionally had a religious connotation, today the term refers to a spontaneous act of goodwill.

Howard believes that we should give back to our communities, and help support charities to improve the lives of the community. He has donated to two charitable organizations in the US: the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America’s Long (CCFA) and the Chabad of Port Washington.

As a renowned philanthropist on Long Island, Mr. Fensterman is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Long Island Chapter of CCFA, which offers charitable services to more than 30,000 individuals who suffer from Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. The charity foundation offers education and outreach programs to individuals affected by this disease.

Since the foundation is not a government-sponsored organization, it relies on donations received from individuals to finance its activities. Howard has provided the foundation with considerable grants that have supported the research, education, and outreach programs. Due to his generous contributions, the CCFA’s Board of Trustees named him “Man of the Year” in 2011.
